Game Recap

Wow! What a game. The Vikings came out to a strong start in the first half. But Eleanor Roosevelt came out in the second half with their engines roaring, and were able to take the lead by the fourth quarter. The score see-sawed between the two teams in the final minutes. Elyse Lowet hit two 3-pointers in the fourth quarter that kept the energy going for the Vikes. With one minute left and Whitman up 43-41, the pressure was on. Isabel Manzano hit a solid 3-pointer and keep the momentum in our favor. Abby Meyers finished it off with a 2 pointer at the end. Abby and Livy Meyers were the high scorers, with 21 and 12 points respectively. The Whitman Girls Varsity is going to the state championship game again!
