The JV football team had a rough Saturday outing versus one of their big rivals, the Churchill Bulldogs. Whitman had four turnovers on the day, including three interceptions, deep in Churchill territory.
The Vikings got two scores on the day, both through special teams. The home squad ran a fake field goal in the 1st quarter to tie the game at 7 and then a kickoff return by Matt Olevsky tied the game at 14. That was it for the Vikes as they got shutout in the 2nd half.
Whitman will take on BCC Saturday morning at 10am in their next contest.
