Natalie Lewis didn’t feel much like getting out on Wednesday, tallying four hits and leading Whitman Vikings JV to a 26-5 win over Wootton. Lewis singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the third, and doubled in the fifth.
Wootton scored three runs in the second inning, but Whitman Vikings JV still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Wootton came thanks to singles by PlayerD and PlayerE.
Whitman Vikings JV got things started in the first inning when Lewis singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
Whitman Vikings JV tallied seven runs in the third inning. Whitman Vikings JV’s big bats in the inning were led by walks by Maya DiGiammarino, Sophia Polley-Fisanich, and Evelyn Gregory, singles by Anna Berger and Lewis, and a double by Eva Levy.
Polley-Fisanich was credited with the victory for Whitman Vikings JV. She surrendered five runs on four hits over four innings, striking out three.
