Anna Berger would not be denied at the plate on Monday, picking up four hits and leading Whitman Vikings JV to a 19-9 win over Wheaton. Berger homered in the first, homered in the second, singled in the fourth, and doubled in the fifth.

Bats blistered as Whitman Vikings JV collected 20 hits and Wheaton tallied seven in the high-scoring game.

Whitman Vikings JV opened up scoring in the first inning, when Berger hit a solo homer.
Whitman Vikings JV tallied six runs in the fourth inning. Berger, Natalie Lewis, Sophia Polley-Fisanich, Carolyn Catan, and Isabelle Van Nieuwkoop each had RBIs in the big inning.

Wheaton scored four runs in the third inning. PlayerG, PlayerH, and PlayerA each drove in runs during the inning.

Polley-Fisanich was credited with the victory for Whitman Vikings JV. She lasted five innings, allowing seven hits and eight runs while striking out five.

Whitman Vikings JV smacked three home runs on the day. Rasika Dronamraju went yard in the second inning. Berger put one out in the first and second innings.

Whitman Vikings JV racked up 20 hits. Lewis, Berger, Catan, Polley-Fisanich, Van Nieuwkoop, and Dronamraju each had multiple hits for Whitman Vikings JV. Berger and Lewis all had four hits to lead Whitman Vikings JV. Whitman Vikings JV stole 23 bases during the game as seven players stole more than one. Lewis led the way with five.

PlayerA went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Wheaton in hits.
